Today Dear Edna turns one! Can you believe it? A year ago today, I opened the virtual doors of my Etsy shop and let in a world of new experiences, emotions, dreams and possibilities. I'm kind of in disbelief and at a loss for words about it. So for now I'll just say this, it's been a seriously amazing year and I couldn't have done it without all of you, my fantastic fans, family and friends! Your support means the world to me and to show my appreciation and gratitude, I'm hosting my very first giveaway!
The lucky winner will receive a $35 gift certificate to Dear Edna! To apply, all you have to do is leave a comment on this post telling me (1) what your favourite Dear Edna item has been this year and why, or (2) anything new you would like to see for sale in Dear Edna in the future. An answer to both questions will get two entries in the contest.
Contest ends on Tuesday, March 29th at 12pm (EST), which also happens to be my bloggiversary. Fancy that! The winner will be chosen at random and announced here. I will also contact the winner via email, if it is provided. If the winner does not respond within one week, another winner will be chosen at random. International participants welcome.

I really loved a lot of Dear Edna things this year, but I think my favourites were the Christmas aprons. They toyed with my delusions of being a grand hostess in another life. And as for new things in the shop, I'll put in a vote for Darcy's pick - the travelling kobo case!

I want to say my favorite item was the green apron I bought last spring, but that would be a lie...I do love it, but my ABSOLUTE favorite, is the red Christmas Apron. I used to look at it on break at work, but since my bf and I made a deal to be more responsible with our spending, I couldn't justify buying it....I still think about it though!!!
I agree with Bess that table linens would be a great next step for Dear Edna. I love me a nice cloth napkin!
I loved the apron I ordered - it was beautiful -maybe I will have one myself some day.....
I bought a fabric cell phone holder on Etsy -love it - that's a small item you could consider...

Congratulations!! I think all of your creations are gorgeous. My son also enjoyed the chocolate chip cookies you posted (we made them into ice cream sandwiches).
My favourite item is the gray tote. I really wished I ordered it before you ran out of the fabric.
Something I would like to see would be a make-up bag perhaps monogrammed like the tote.
