Having been a bridesmaid in three weddings and a happy guest at countless others, I consider myself a bit of an expert on the subject. As I discovered this past weekend, however, nothing can possibly prepare you for the moment you watch your little brother slide a ring on his love's finger and say "I do". Whew. It's overwhelming and emotional, to say the least. It was a beautiful day and an amazing party, and such a treat to see so many of our extended family make the trip. Congratulations, again to the happy couple! xo
